Before you request deletion
An erasure request asks MarktWelt to close or de-identify the account and delete eligible personal information. This can affect order history, saved addresses, wishlists, business access, active applications, and future access to the same account.
Complete active orders, returns, payouts, disputes, or regulated obligations before requesting deletion where possible.

What happens next
- The request is recorded with a unique reference and target date.
- An authorised reviewer verifies identity and checks active transactions, legal obligations, and security risks.
- A separate authorised reviewer approves or rejects the request where required by the privacy workflow.
- Eligible information is deleted, anonymised, pseudonymised, or restricted, and completion evidence is recorded.
Records we may retain
Some information may be retained where necessary for tax, accounting, payment, fraud prevention, security, pharmacy, legal-hold, dispute, regulatory, or other lawful obligations. Retained data should be limited, protected, and used only for the applicable purpose.
